Many times, hosts think the company or broker provided a STR policy just to find out when a claim is made there was a little sentence in the fine print that stated any STR activities canceled the policy out.

I host a group for midterm rental operators and I had 2 people in last week's meeting essentially say the same thing.

I suspect these hosts are buying off bad reviews.

Dalton,A multi LTR strategy sounds like a great play for 2025.i would suggest attending any and all REI meet ups in your area that you can find; my brokerage hosts a bunch of them up in the north east and it's been huge for our growth.i would also suggest finding an investor focused agent.

It's much more fully integrated, which works well for guests and hosts. 

He believes he can find all that he needs to know on the internet.
