Luckily for me the state of Florida has state level protection which bars municipalities from passing new or amending their existing laws.That said, I am seeing cities like City of Saint Pete crack down and are enforcing their laws for the first time in years.

Obviously, they have no intention of following the law & I wouldn't count on them to adhere to your lease provisions, either.Don't get me wrong - I love dogs & my pit (who went through the big doggie door in the sky many years ago) was the best dog, ever!

I’m going to disagree with @Chris Seveney and say whether an assignee could force a sale directly would be a state law issue and heavily dependent upon the contract terms.

@Joseph Binkowski - this seems overly complicated and possibly breaking a law... maybe you need a lawyer to vet this.If I were that accredited investor, I wouldn't touch any of it.
