Ask how many units they manage and how much experience they have.

Hi.I am getting another multi family in forth worth And have no experience on the west side of that areaAll my rentals are in dallas Any idea how is the market in fw?

The problem with Multi Family is that unless you or your partner have $10M or so of net worth and $1M in cash laying around as well as prior experience with commercial real estate, you can't get the loan. 

I wanted to see if anyone has experience with or owns any properties with knob and tube wiring and what I should do.

I find it's very personal, and dependent a lot on your goals, resources, risk tolerance, location, experience, etc.

We aren't that big as we only have 5 properties/7 doors but it has been a great experience for us and we aren't looking back. 

The better the rates, lenders generally want to see more experience, higher credit, occupancy and DSCR requirements.
