I have supported Real Estate related Veteran Organizations such as Building Homes For Heroes and The Veterans Homestead Project by helping locate  properties, donating materials and volunteering my time.  

The event was for charity (Brashear Association Toy Drive) so we did not want to turn willing donations away but we had no choice when the chairs were gone.

Also does anyone know that if I set it up as an LLC and donate 90% of the company's net profits that I can avoid getting taxed on the entire 90%?

Have it be a surprise or a small gift basket full of bulk purchased items you can break up into many baskets or donated coupons from local vendors.  

I heard that you can donate a house to a local fire department for a training.

Requiring a donation to charity is awesome.

The Milwaukee Bucks just approved a new stadium with a lot of taxpayer money pitched in and there were some shenanigans where a local real estate mogul who had donated a ton of money to Scott Walker over the years and purchased land around this new stadium site then became part in the group that recently bought the team right before Walker pushed hard for this new stadium deal.

I want to provide housing and donate to those who are in hardship.

Several life events have led me to Real Estate Investments because I know this will allow me to fund and donate to research studies for Children's Cancer in the future.My brain is eager to learn more, and my ears waiting to hear from wholesalers, hard money lenders, contractors, and other motivated investors out there!!  

I would really like to wield the 401k to it's highest potential, but as additional/alternate strategies I can max non-Roth IRAs and do charitable donations.
