I spend most of my time looking for property with lots of equity and has zero curb appeal.  

The Finance Minister announced steps to curb the influx of foreign capital into the Canadian Real Estate Market  (in which he really meant TO and Vancouver ... down east we are not really suffering from the influx of foreign money ... sure we lost a 50-unit deal a couple of years ago to a Chinese investor, but the property was not worth what s/he paid, so we'll see it back on the market eventually).That said, Ottawa is only removing a loophole which has allowed foreigners to purchase a residence in Canada, claim it as their principal residence and then benefit from the personal residence {captial gains} tax exemption when they sell.  

They had made changes outside immediately to personalize the house and  improve its curb appeal.

Put a 5 day notice on the door you can get the verbiage from the magistrate's office @ end of 5 days go back to the magistrate fill 10 day notice (police will serve this one $40 in Cherokee County)  @ end of 10 day back to magistrate's office file 24hr ($10) notice police will file again at the end of 24hr schedule Police officer to meet you at the house you will have to move all their things to the curb/end of the drive you can change the locks @ that point.

New bath, new kitchen, stainless steel, quartz, refinished floors, parking pad, can lights, LED, new blinds, some new windows, curb appeal, etc. 

For income property, the value is derived from what you can rent it for, not how appealing the property is or curb appeal.

Looking at the outside, it needs work to increase it’s curb appeal.

I think you need to greatly enhance curb appeal too to get renters in the door. 2 cents. 

There is a room for one car if curb can be made and little asphalt in the front of the twin (which is possible to do and still look okay).
