(The masonry workers also scratched up the wall inside by the fireplace and said it was just a touch up and our contractor should take care of it). 

When we finally got to property, we found all kinds of mismatched paint, which was just a lot of touch-ups.

wall to close off a living room and create a new bedroom in my house hack... shouldn't be much more than just the wall, paint & finish, door, closet, touch-ups around the edges where they interfaced with the existing walls... typical adding a bedroom / house hacking things.If anyone has any recommendations for contractors please chime in!

I sub contract workers but you always have to oversee everything..and add touch ups yourself..the market is hot.

Keep the extra paint for any touch ups.

I ended up getting a ton of demand and found what looks like will be a great tenant at $1095 + $25 a month pet rent for her one cat with only some paint touch-ups, some new recessed lights, and a new sink.
