I have a desire to support uplifting/encouraging art in Houston, for the art (music, performing arts, visual arts) is the heartbeat of the culture of a city, help propel the local church I am a part of to new levels of influence and ability to help (they have a large prison and drug addict ministry), and to provide future employment/contract work that can help establish good character and personal development in said employees.Real Estate/Business has the potential to impact on a city level what would be nearly impossible to do in the position of a W2 salary, even at higher levels in the corporate ladder IMO.This impact potential gets me absolutely jazzed.And so since November I have devoured books, burned through podcasts, employed my excel and access skillz, joined a local REI club, met up with local investors, read numerous BP threads/blogs, and now begun the actual deployment of action steps.The beginning of March has marked the real start of a new endeavor along side my engineering day job... heading down the Wholesaling route, seeing as deals are the must-have corner stone for this entire business. 

I use Christian Healthcare Ministries which is a medical bill sharing plan.

We also founded a ministry after years of serving as pastors in the church.

We have been leaders for Crown Financial Ministries over the years and we are very conservative with how we handle our money.  

My goal in real estate is to get enough cash flow through rentals to be able to be in full-time ministry without taking a paycheck from the church.

Since 2009 I have been leasing it to groups of students that attend a local ministry school, Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry, and now to YWAM Youth with a Mission.

We set goals beside every number we made like buying a retreat center for the ministry we run, providing monthly income for our parents, taking college students to international ministries we support to show them the world and its needs are much bigger than them (CAN I GET AN AMEN?!).

This area has a bible college which have no dorms but brings families from all over the world to train in ministry for their churches.

We just donated $2,500 to the Methari Slums Project, an outreach ministry sponsored by one of my best friend's churches.

Well I was in search for a loan for a well known preacher to purchase a new building for his ministry.
