An L3 decontamination is where they remove all insulation, spray disinfectant and remove virtually all the droppings (but they can't guarantee they will get them all), and then add the insulation back in.

I will reply back when we get another heavy rain to see if they work.http://www.shop.trxplug.com/ i used that company to come and polyurethene spray the cracks. they drill every 6-8" and squirt it with 3k psi guns. not the hand guns that barely get in the cracks.

In 2011 it cost us $2600 to insulate a house; they bore holes from the outside and sprayed it in.

There is an enzyme spray that I was introduced to about a year ago, I forget what it was called, but it took a house from smelling like a casino in Reno (tobacco smoke) to smelling like nothing in 48 hours it was mind blowing.

If you really want to get crazy you can get quotes on spraying in insulation, or you might also consider buying the kits from box stores to spray it in yourself.

Hello Troy, Here is the order my crews prefer to do the work:Demo - 1 or 2 daysFraming - 1 to 3 daysMechanicals (Electric, plumbing, HVAC) - 2 to 3 daysDrywall - 3 to 5 daysTrim and Doors - 1 to 2 daysPaint - 1 to 2 daysCabinets - 1 day (order far enough in advance)Flooring - 2-4 daysCounters - 1 day (order when the cabinets are installed)Fixtures (Fans, faucets, etc) - 1 to 2 days Cleaning and staging - 1 day Some touch up paint is needed at the end, but it easier for them to spray the home when there's nothing to worry about getting paint on (no cabinets or flooring).
