You can't ask someone for money, but also not disclose things because you don't trust them.

At this point assume your money is most likely gone and not coming back.

I would find a good realtor, use Kiavi or wild-cat for lending, and good contractors through your realtor, and a local PM.Then you can re-fi using a DSCR loan and leave very little money in the deal and have it cashflow.

He ended up having to pay back all the extra money to the tenants AND pay back all the money S8 paid for rent since the beginning of their tenancy. 

Be vocal about the deals you are finding, money attracts hustle and deals.

I’d look at listening to podcasts such as BP, BP money, straight up Chicago investor podcast.While in school and even now, I’d focus on working as much as possible to make sure you’re in a good position to have a down payment as soon as possible.i’d try to understand what a good deal is (underwriting), and also lending.
