We lost an eviction case in court due to a disabled person indicating they could not pay on time due to a delay of their disability check (which was not the resident fault).

Hi, I have a question like in lease it's mentioned that if tenant sue landlord and judge dismiss the case in that case tenant has to pay for landlord's attorney fee.then later tenant sues the landlord over security deposit dispute but loses the case.in the courtroom judge says case is dismissed , so at what point tenant  pays for landlord's attorney fee.because during the court session attorney fee's was not discussed, will landlord now sue tenant in a new case for attorney's fee retrieval.

I have a similar case in which I reside in CA and have properties in NY under a NY LLC, my CPA has asked me to file in CA as a foreign entity, so I had to file tax return in both NY and CA.
