that may be a bit harsh but atleast hear me out first. just like you i attended there first "free" course, after all these are the guys from A&E's "flip this house". ok so the first course is over(2-3 hrs), now they offer the weekend course for $200 i believe, so i figured why not its only $200 and its a whole weekend theres gotta be some great info. not knowing that there just building up for the 25K mastering program. so the 3 day class is over they pass out the booklets for mastering program and interview any1 interested, which i was. untill i found out the price. told them there would be no way i could do it. so they say ok well be in touch with other programs. so a cpl. days later i get a call, its them, asking if im interested in the mastering program yet. i said i would love to (knowing i had no intentions to, i just couldnt believe they were tying to convince me to spend 25k i didnt have) so he says ok i will get you a phone interview with my superior once i get all your info it will take about an hour, so he takes all my info, then i tell him well i dont think this is a good idea, but i would still like to talk to your boss. all of a sudden his boss was busy and i couldnt get a phone interview untill next week.

Having said all of that, I have used Behr and Glidden in the past and I feel that the 200 is far superior.

I've got another business (REI), where direct mail gives the superior return, so that's what I do there.  

@Tina Garcia You'll note that all of my posts were pro-possessor (you).However, you might also observe that with AP, not only does a claimant have a certain amount if risk, but a fairly significant amount if due diligence us required to reduce the risk of the very thing you describe in your first post.What I got out of your post was that a bogus heir claimed a superior right (but no legal standing) and further insult by a pro-claimant law enforcement person whisked you out.I missed you mentioning any formal investigation on you part that included reviewing the deceased owner's death cert, genealogical records, skip tracing heirs, hiring a licensed P.I. or even paying delinquent and current property taxes.

It is certainly more superior option for those who are quality.
