That's evidence that they are not problematic or has not been problematic to the previous landlord, who tends to give a good recommendation just to get rid of them.The Statements also ensures that I wasn't set up by one of their friends "Pretending" to be their landlord.Of course a lot of Landlords don't go to my extreme, but this is NYC.

Are you sure this lady isn't the actual owner and just pretending to be the tenant to avoid having to pay her share of the fence?

As a tenant, it would put a bad taste in my mouth if my LL was pretending they didn't own the property and were "just" another tenant or the PM.

So that is really the extent of my knowledge other that what I read on here and what I google, I have a 6 figure income a strong Business sense and above average intelligence and am a salesman at heart, I have around 30 k of my own money that I would like to keep right where its at and some other money in 401ks and such but lets just pretend those dont exist.

They've never done a deal and were some wholesalers pretending to be cash investors.
