The kids didn't change schools, friends or church. since it was same neighborhood.

@Janice TraubThere is nothing wrong with having cages around AC units outside that is normal here in Memphis even in some of the great rental areas, churches and a lot of businesses have them around there condenser units definitely not a disqualifier in my eyes.

We had like 10 offers and I knew he was recently divorced, had custody of his 2 kids, and had a great job at the city... he goes to my church.

Is going to church ethical? 

On the flip side I have seen conversions that took some guts from developers like converting a church into condos and they sold like hot cakes so sometimes you can turn a problem into gold.

I remember hitting the club called The Church.

This is a central location in town and very convenient for shopping, churches, restaurants, etc.
