Most carriers will deny a claim on a regular tenant policy if they discover that you're actually running an STR. 

@Russon Smith  I called my regular insurance agent (he holds my vehicle and primary home policies) and he was able to get a renovation policy through another carrier to cover me through our rehab.  

Someone mentioned USLI, I use them in my business and they are a great company, however they are not an admitted carrier in most states.
