Each Partner had made a lot of money.When I was planning on moving on to a new business and holding off of Real Estate Investing, my Partners became VERY disappointing as all of them got in and made money because of my leadership.So, I decided instead of starting off right away with the new business I was planning, which is a software development business, I would just get my License.Once I looked into it, I saw that there are 2 requirements to getting a Broker's License in NY. 1) Have 2 years Salesperson Experience and 3,500 points OR 2) Have 3 years equivalent experience and 5,250 points.

Though I have been disappointed with Section 8 having a freeze in new vouchers (meaning, there are only say, 2500 vouchers to go around and there are 2500 units, but there are 2000 people on a wait-list.

Naturally, when parties to a transaction that have incentive for something to happen (commission, profit) or not happen (i.e. foreclosure, bankruptcy) have to deal with an appraiser that has specifically been tasked to give an unbiased/independent opinion (the appraiser doesn't care if the deal happens or not) there will be many times when the parties to a transaction will be disappointed.
