I will be attending my very first Bigger Pockets event this Saturday (2019 Planning Session) and can't be more excited to meet new people and get educated on the industry.

I read the manual on how to work their program and listened to the audio CD containing a scripted Q&A session.

I guess I have step one of the REI newbie session complete.

The session was a teaser to get you to attend an upcoming 2-day event at a cost of $999.

Just yesterday I got a call from someone who put on his website that he was giving me a "strategic coaching session" only to find out it was his slick talking "right hand man" asking me what my goals were and before you know it....BAM....I could join his program for $8,000....but do you know what he said that was ever so comforting?

I went to a Keller Williams's info session.  

The last 2 are free, MAREIA has a free general session monthly and I'm not sure about BREIA but check out their website.As always, BP rocks so set up some keywords and start learning.

With that said, I went to the 3-day session (well two of the days) and thought they were valuable.

We limit those to two a year and those are the only sessions where the speakers sell material.  

She is the organizer of FIBI - Real Estate - Pasadena and her meet up sessions were the most informative sessions I've attended in my many years in real estate.
