@Stephen McCrackenCouple of things1) This may be bank specific but both Chase and Navy Federal Credit Union told me that if I used a conventional loan on a home, I'd have to occupy it for at least a year if I was to use their traditional fixed mortgage.2) Consider looking 30 minutes out if the prices are too high if you're going the MLS / realtor route 3) Good idea using direct mail and cold calling to find off market deals.If you need help with number 3) feel free to reach out.
