I've been reading topics on this site for a while and finally decided to take the plunge and join.

Before taking the plunge, honestly assess your finances (income, debts, savings, and risk tolerance) and research your chosen market thoroughly (rents, vacancies, property values, landlord regulations).

i really need to make the plunge.

My wife and I are ready to make the plunge sometime soon and have narrowed our search down to Little Rock, Arkansas.

I decided to make REI my wealth-building vehicle and took the plunge.

I am also based in Dubai and have been researching all these same steps, but have not yet taken the plunge into my first investment in the US.

My hope would be to use a loan that would allow us to make the home our primary residence for the lower down payment options, live in it for a year, and then convert it to an investment property/repeat the process.I’ve done a fair amount of research but understand that actually taking the plunge and doing it is often the hardest part, so any guidance or doses of reality would be much appreciated!

Am looking to become a landlord in NYC, would like to know the things I should be aware of before taking the plunge.
