Are there any modifications to the written lease?

Bigger discounts come from assets that have later pay histories then that.There is also a lot of HAMP modifications that are starting to default that were modified 5 years ago.  

It will stick for years.If you can sell for a loss or other ways to avoid late payments and foreclosure then go for it.See if the lender can work with you on a loan modification so that they do not have to foreclose.

Toal also set a May 15 deadline for plaintiffs in foreclosure actions to notify other parties if the loan is subject to modification under the federal program.

You aren't getting a loan modification, some sort of workout or any forebearance.

Make sure you add an addendum to the lease that under no circumstances are any modifications that attach to the exterior walls, railings, decks or roof allowed.
