I think the people that said Inglewood and certain parts of East LA are right on the money.The part of Inglewood that runs east of La Cienega between the 405 and Slauson is away from airport noise, on a nice hilly area with cool breezes, and close to everything on the west side.The area of East LA known as El Sereno that is hilly has nice views, relatively low prices and is super close to Downtown.

I like flying into the Stockton airport.. that I like... but boy there are some rough areas of that city no doubt.. but like anywhere there is good and bad.. but if you not commuting into SF bay area for work.. then just make the jump out of state..
