My larger commercial stuff and apt buildings will probably get 1031'd into a less expensive market in 2018.The market dynamics that are causing the froth this time around may be different, but the graphs are alarmingly similar like you mention.This is more of a supply/demand, low inventory bubble than a crazy money supply bubble due to lax underwriting and CDOs of the GRC days, but there are definitely similarities.

Fire -does it meet fire code, in RI 5 units need to have a fire alarm system and of course look at egress but our property the seller had to have the fire alarm inspected.Heat- if you can convert to gas you are lucky!

The only new construction in this house is new kitchen and bath electrical circuits and new hard wired smoke alarms, moving washer hook ups-some cast iron replacing-new shower/tub valves and a new shower pan and frame two walls and add a door.
