For most of us, rental income always remains just a supplement to the income we get from our regular jobs.

To supplement this, I have been listening to podcasts for about a year and a half now.

Instead everyone talks about the main software they use and then the tools they use to supplement it.  

And for the ones that are underwater, I doubt any agent that is introducing themselves to the banks is going to really supplement their income with a few foreclosure / REO sales. 

My original strategy was to buy local multifamily properties (Palm Beach county / South Florida) one at a time and buy and hold indefinitely to build equity and have positive cashflow as supplemental income. 

The HOA will dictate no AirBNB/short term and residents can choose multi-gen housing or to rent to a long term tenant to supplement income.

Direct Mail might be another good option to supplement w/ ppc.

This investor has supplemental income from passive investments that can be larger than their full-time ordinary income (a.k.a. the much-sought-after-but-rarely-achieved “financial freedom”).

Plus over $1M in real estate equity that provides $3500/mo rental income (which pays my $3200/mo mortgage), plus a decent-but-declining income that will be supplemented by $2500/mo Social Security in a few months.

Except heat pumps are not good under about 18 degrees, they need a separate 50A circuit for supplemental heat strips.But that's what I did for my own home after checking the math between propane and electric prices during the winter.It depends a lot on the different fuel prices during the winter in each area too....
