The California Dept. of Real Estate used to have a policy against what they called Freeze Out Listings but they had a tough time enforcing the policy.

If he were to publish your information, that would certainly warrant reporting him to the police (and any identity theft people) so you would at least have that, but as a couple other people said, you should be able to put a freeze on your identity information while this is going on.

Generally, freezing temps and power washing don't mix, I would wait till spring and focus on interior for now.
