I currently started working for a new title and closing company here in the Birmingham, Alabama area.  

I can tell you our group invests in single family homes primarily in St Louis, MO and Birmingham, AL.

They focus on markets like Indianapolis, Memphis and Birmingham, which tend to have higher rent-to-value ratios and lower property taxes, and therefore better cash flow.

The cash flow would have been minimal and I can get a better ROI on the money by investing it in Indy or Birmingham, AL (and not leaving myself a potential long-distance headache in Valpo). 

I’m looking for a good investor friendly tax advisor in the Birmingham Alabama area...any recommendations?

Right now I have SFH homes in Birmingham AL, but looking to move into multifamily in 2023.
