So, instead of fighting the battle after the fact, I want to seek out the investing side and bring my own ideas to the table and stay in control of the design throughout the process.The best strategy I am seeing thus far is where there are 4 parties involved; the builder (GC), an architect, a CFO/Investment Broker to write the checks when all are in agreement, and the Investor being a source of cash only.
