I am a senior at Texas Tech University and graduating this May (finance and accounting).

Those are Universes apart on many different levels.Also can't be comparing 1,000,000 sq ft malls to neighborhood street retail 20,000 sq ft and under.

Universal basic income would help with this.

They will be 3bed 2.5bath townhouses within 1mile of Louisiana Tech University and my property lines share with a city park. 

I currently do the vast majority of my BRRRR & Buy & Hold investing in the Newberg market around George Fox University.

Currently a 4th year dental student at University of Maryland in Baltimore.

It's important to realize that the closer the unit is to the University of Vermont/Medical Center or Downtown the more they will bring.

Local meetups, REIA groups, coffee with brokers and lenders, professors in the local university (I think most business schools these days have real estate programs).Finally, be active here, listen to podcasts, read books, etc.

Does the university shutting down permanently affect things adversely?
