I have been couple of months now on BP, so finally decided to register and participate, instead of just reading and listening to podcast, which are invaluable if I may say, so a shout-out to @Joshua Dorkin and @Brandon Turner for the amazing work they do each and every day.I love real estate investing; I just wish I had found BP back in 2010 when me and my husband first became landlords.

Mine went up and is on the way down in a couple days.So, if I leave my computer on and on BP, just walk away, does it put me in a slot as a lurker or something and begin deducting points?

I absolutely love real estate because I have "business ADD" and so I look at every single property as a new business to start, if that makes sense.

Real estate has not made me financially independent, but it has made my life a lot less stressful with respect to money.I have a few passions in life, and fortunately I'm involved in all of them: I love my work, I love real estate deals, especially paper deals, and I love fast cars.

Someday this might change, but for now, this is what I'm trying to plan for.To bring my answer back on topic though, the why do I invest is actually an easier question to answer.I really love real estate and I'd rather be working on/in/and around it then doing anything else. - I like the creation aspect - creation of houses that I'd like to live in, creation of a sustainable living (hopefully for many future years as well).- I like studying real estate - learning more about what I'm doing, learning about what other people are doing, learning about all of the aspects of building construction that I can.- I like seeing what's happening in my cities and others - what works, what doesn't.- I like design and I like function - creating a strong combo of these things interests me.- I like the people I meet along the way.

So, whether I fill the last slot on my team or not, the cost of the program is worth it to me either way.
