With the media casting “Trailer Park Boys” to the unforgettable mobile home park scenes in Eminem’s movie, 8 Mile, most people would never consider putting their time or capital into such an undesirable investment.

They’re probably the highest I’ve seen in the area, before moving to League City I was looking at a new construction home 3600 sq ft 380k purchase price with property taxes at 1450/ month (MUD district makes a huge difference).

But I was able to do most of the work myself including plumbing, drywall, mudding, texturing, painting and trim.

I am currently looking at different multi family properties in Ocala and am wondering if anyone has information on desirable/undesirable areas there?

The roof leaked, guests fell in the mud walking to the front door (actually hilarious! 

Just a word of caution, it's hard to make them work because there is so much down time (aka mud season - April, May and fall Sept Oct) which are hard to fill.

I have seen a little termite damage exposed at baseboards but then the termites traveled up there "mud tubes" to eat a second floor bathrooms entire subfloor and floor joists.

Your right, most turnkey providers can't get multiple offers on the MLS because the majority of their inventory is undesirable.  

I have the rare luxury of 60 days notice on a unit, and was wondering if renters think an ad up for a while is stale and undesirable?

Quit investing in undesirable areas.
