Even color coded as to which story stayed and which stories were immediately under a national fire alarm covert siren screaming take it down get it off visable !!!!!!!!!

Almost to the tune of he felt it was overkill since the property we have has a cellular monitored alarm system.

I was wondering if adding a Simplisafe Alarm system which also has optional water/flood and fire detectors would be a good idea to add to my rentals for piece of mine and added value to the property (I'm just assuming this, but not sure if it really adds any value) and for the tenants (the security portion of the system)?

Check to make sure my pool safety equipment is working, test the pool alarm, check batteries in all the remotes.  

Red flags should wave, alarms go off, rockets fly and lights should flash any time someone is doing unconventional things to conduct business!

They move out, there is no furniture in the house, nothing that can show me ..”we aint be moving out”, I have relocking company change all the locks right after they are outside, install the alarm system, notify the local police about the agreement etc.

Giving my tax guy a benefit of doubt, he has known me for 12 years to be a "stable saver" and i think the idea of draining my savings into a new venture that excites me and changing career directions was alarming for him.

If that was 15k for a duplex then that raises alarms as to why its sooooo cheap.If that was 3.5% down payment then duplex is 428k which hopefully has no need of repairsSo we already see based on the information provided that you can have a complete tear down or a very nice turn key duplex. 

Make sure all your smoke alarms and CO2 detectors are working.  

Then you'd at least be merely tacky vs. a thief.
