Okay, here's a different thread for you to sink your teeth into.I had a tenant that overloaded two sets of closet shelves with clothes on hangers and they collapsed last month. 

I can tell you none of those things helped with RE investing whatsoever, but it did give me a high paying W2 jobs for 20 years so that gave me the resources to build my RE portfolio without leverage. 

It's silly to say any asset class whatsoever is "recession-proof" - every recession is different, and any business can fail.

So a pool cabin without a view is no problem whatsoever.  

Understand I'm a title guy masquerading as a probate guy but cut my teeth working Foreclosures.

I have no reason to doubt that whatsoever, as it's been said by several people on this site many times, who have much more experience at this than I do.
