Through the knowledge base here on biggerpockets I have been able scale form 1- 18 properties in less than a year.

So I usually feel comfortable, however as I scale I know I’ll need to build in some safeguards.

I figured whatever mistakes I make will be on a small scale.

The question then is, how does one scale? 

If it is not legal, it will not scale.

@Alonzo Mansel wholesaling is usually not a full time job if you are starting on a small scale  It is very possible that you could do both at the same time.
