That is constant communication and a small misunderstanding can lead to a huge setback I probably going to have an issue hiring a contractor who can't effectively communicate with me.Back to the non-English speaking applicants, I would be more concerned with them signing the English lease via the interpreter and may not be 100% aware of what they are signing.

Don't misunderstand we don't let our tenants chill out in the property without paying but we most certainly pick out battles.

Some seemed to misunderstand that the new tenant cannot be added to the lease: the current number of unrelated people living in the house is now a violation of county law, with this 6th tenant living there.
