Insulation between the beams and thicker sound proof drywall.Also if the floor upstairs is creaking, consider screwing the subfloor down, this can help a lot

We have taken out adjacent coat closets and reconfigured the bathroom to make more room.

Took me a long time to get thicker skin but I am much better off!

Keep concrete yards but try to smooth it over with a thin coat over the rougher areas and give it one solid paint color.ORBreak up the concrete with jackhammer, leaving the concrete under the carport and cutting out pathways to the doors.

It might cost $100 to put in nicer knobs and pulls, but that, fixing crooked doors, and a fresh coat of paint can make an old kitchen look trendy and high-end.Eike
