I have no intentions to convince you that my appreciation theory or that my investment philosophy is correct.

People will tell you one number is better than another, but all the metrics are used in different scenarios and investment philosophies.

After some "drama" I bought a place of my own about a year ago and that has influenced my investment philosophy.

I wholeheartedly agree with his philosophy.

Our strategy has been what we call the "Trick or Treat Philosophy".  

They are legal and while they go against my philosophy of not targeting motivated sellers, I see it as a way to get our brand known around the city.  

I have heard this tactic/strategy/philosophy/(BS) taught and suggested by many.

I have the same philosophy.
