In one case it is an actual swap and while you legally don't have to use a QI for that process you'll want professionals working with you to verify process, valuations, etc.On the other hand if you want to sell FL and then buy the house a regular straight 1031 exchange will work just fine.  

Another huge problem was for municipalities getting burned on their credit default swaps (CDS) used to hedge their bond sales. 

So to be clear, the OP can swap to get two properties, but cannot pull cash out.

If the power outlets are yellowed, swap the out with fresh white ones.

I think we need to be careful about asset swaps, I get it we are on a RE forum, but not all assets are worth the swap for RE.

@Olivia C.Most people have been either just having them established/permitted the same way you would a mobile home park....Or purchasing an existing mobile home park and swapping out the mobiles for tiny homes, it's already the same infrastructure.
