I am guessing that there woumd be some way to make this be workable for lessening your tax burden but might not hold up in protecting you legally (piercing the corporate veil).

If you are not running the business properly it gives the courts a reason to pierce/lift the protection of the corporate veil and hold you (and/or partners/shareholders) responsible.

I think if you do the same, pay your state and federal taxes, and treat your business like a business, your risk of having the corporate veil pierced and exposing personal assets is quite low.
