Hello,  My name is Michael Davis and I live in Virginia.  I am very new to real estate investing.  In fact, I just realized that this is actually a career and that people are doing this as a vehicle to create financial freedom.  I'm legally blind and my wife is visually impaired.  We both work full time for the Navy as civilian employees.

It's definitely something we'd like to get into as soon as we can start!  I think we'd both be really enjoy it not necessarily just for ourselves but I run marathons for an organization called Team Hoyt.  It is an organization that I've run with since 2009 pushing kids and adults with special needs marathons.  I've run 3 Boston marathons including the 2013 marathon when bombs went off at the finish line.  We were so grateful to make it back home safely that year.  I did not get to finish in 2013 but I got to go back in 2014 and I qualified and ran again in 2015.  I'm hoping to learn as much as I can from all of you so that I can be successful in real estate and help people who really need it.

If you guys have any tips for a new person I'd appreciate it.
