Hey guys I’m new to landlording and I wanted to install some security cameras outdoors to capture front of the house the yard and driveway, does anyone know which cameras would be best something that I can watch on my phone while not at the property if need be.

@Alex MoazeniWithout knowing the age, type of pipe, length of run, location of leaks within run it’s tough to say.I assume you had it inspected with a camera to show the leaks?

It does not record conversations, nor does it have a camera.

I used to have a $600 DSLR camera with a $1,200 lens but phone technology caught up and was taking pictures that were just as good.

If rough neighborhood add security cameras and barred windows as selling point. 

I always bring is systems specialists as well as General Inspection.I bring my plumber for sewer line camera inspection-extra $100My roof guy for his opinion- usually free or I pay him $100 just to be cool and he appreciates it.

I have heard of some investors putting up cameras to see if contractors are stealing materials from the site and so forth. 

There is a surveillance camera facing the front door and the HDTV, it records all movement and sound. 

Had a camera put through the plumbing and discovered roots in the clay sewer pipe.  

A good camera system and alarm are a must.
