I have to replace two concrete walkways in front of my house in Pilsen in Chicago.  

Major changes included:-Removed all wallpaper -Painted walls and ceilings-White washed upstairs -Reinforced foundation of porch-Updated Baths and Kitchen-New landscaping-Replaced brick walkway with concrete.

There are a lot of forums here so I hope this one is appropriate...My wife and I are getting ready to close on a 4-plex in Pocatello ID and our first project needs to be the outside concrete.There are a couple of 20 ft. walkways, at least 6 steps and 2 back door concrete porches that are all in bad shape.Not sure what can be repaired and what needs replaced so we are looking for a contractor who knows his business and will treat us fairly. 

After viewing the property I’ve concluded to make the property sell better, or get more attention it would need some light landscaping, I would have to talk to the neighbors regarding a locked gate on a walk way in an easement, and a full set of new photos would need to be taken.

Unless there is an appraisal contingency, once the inspection period closes the only valid walk-way (under most agreements) is failure to find financing on terms disclosed in the purchase agreement. 

Are the wet walls on the other side of the cement walkway? 

Permanent foundation, attached garage, paved driveway and connecting walkway, pitched roof, etc.
