It should outlast a tenant turn or two unlike carpet but no where near as hard to remove as tile. 

Being a 1960s era, it will have everywhere.  6 inch tile floors, hot water pipes, countertops, etc.Would check on that before diving in.

I’m looking for a list of suggested products (cabinets, flooring, tile, etc) to rehab the interior.

I won't have to worry about taking up nice tile or something--I plan to fix the plumbing and then will have to put in new wood laminate as it is.

No water is leaking into the unit, the ceiling tiles just get a slight discoloration.

So help me understand how this would work.Let’s say that I spent $500 on Tile at Home Depot and I initially put it to WIP Inventory > Tile.

Back to the kitchens, I especially like the  (before) galley kitchen with the tile floor, and if there was a door opening at both ends at ADA specified widths that would be a nice feature too.Good Luck!

I use patterned ones that look like granite or marble or quartz or similar so that stains and minor scratches don't show, and don't use a shiny surface - use as close to matte as possible - and light colors.
