Account Closed We did 2x6 studs, 3x4" plywood, then hardboard, filled the seams with a mortar sealant, then applied this 1/2' thick.

There is an issue with the tub in the occupied unit - the faucet of the tub leaks when the water is on and the leak hits right where the tub and wall tile meet, and of course there is no grout / sealant between the tub and wall tile so the leak goes directly below the tub.

:) The plastic blinds will likely be stained, particularly in the room(s) where they smoked most frequently.While folks will suggest to prime with a sealant primer (such as Zinnsser), if there have been long-term smokers, it may not be sufficient - it will cover in the short-term, but the toxins will eventually find their way to the surface again.We helped to renovate a house where the prior owner had been a heavy smoker for 30+ years.

Stained concrete is great, you can also do a diy which is an acid wash to open the pours, roll on a stain, roll on your sealant and voo - laa.

The outside foundation wall may have to be dug out and sealed with a waterproof sealant.

Basically he advises putting a second thick layer of drywall on the ceiling with some special acoustic sealant in between.

Years 1 - 3 the Roof looks relatively new, years 4-7 the sealant gets bad, granule loss takes place. years 7-10 shingles start to coming off, 11-15  shingles start to come off, leaks take place.
