I just bought a house in los angles and can only afford the mortgage if I get roommates.

I'm house-hacking in Cobb County with three other roommates, I have yet to run into any trouble. 

Some feedback that the agent has from showings and her insight:-2 bedrooms /1 bathroom upstairs & 1 bathroom downstairs is not an ideal situation for roommates or a family.

I’d look at it another way figure out where you want to live and than figure out if house hacking is a way to afford that area and if you have a long term plan to afford that place with at most one roommate, you will find it hard to break even much less make money house hacking anywhere in the region so may as well buy in a place you want to be long term, if your not ready to commit at least medium term, rent.

I recommend you spend some time searching for advice in the forums or around the internet and learn how to manage roommates.

It's set up for roommates and housekeeping is included. 

Her sister still lives in the house with a roommate so my wife's portion is covered.
