House hacking a single family residence
Hi everyone! I just bought a house in los angles and can only afford the mortgage if I get roommates. I have a 4 bedroom house with 2.5 bathrooms. I will have the primary bedroom with an attached bath. That leaves 3 bedrooms with one shared bathroom and a .5 bath for everyone. Any advice for how to proceed? Do I get a property manager to help manage? I don’t know what I’m doing. Any advice would be so helpful!

@Heather Rummel why'd you buy and NOT do all your homework ahead of time?
Given California's tenant-friendly laws, you'd probably be better off hiring a PMC to help you find & screen roommates.
Suggest you ask a LOT of questions and take good notes, so you can copy their systems.
BTW - many PMCs won't help you because they don't do rent by room. Be sure to tell them you are just looking for placement assistance, not ongoing management.
