Be aware of fences as neighbors some times take advantage of vacant lots by aggressively fencing and using the land as their own.Best practice; get permission and walk the property.

I told her that this was not a good start and that I either need a signed lease and a check on Friday or they will need to vacate.Oh almost forgot... one said she had a criminal past -- just found a felony case for petit larceny - 3rd offence and the other said something about getting out of rehab.Oh my.

I like the advice on ratcheting things up with the authorities and I might even look into what type of fencing is allowed in your area in the front yard (height, etc).
