@Josh Haney Fundrise and similar online crowdfunding sites are technically syndications, but there is a whole ecosystem out their of syndicators and funds that are a bit more transparent and personal as you can talk to the actual operators.

Real Estate investors, brokers, wholesalers etc have to look at what value they add to the ecosystem.

And, likely because home runs are more common in this world than on publicly listed properties you can find on the MLS.Wholesaling and wholesalers are a real part of the ecosystem, but not the 80/20 of this industry, or even the 90/10.I agree that wholesale deals are no different, and often no better, than on-market deals, and come with added risks, faster closing timetables, and the need for cash or hard money in many cases.I've contemplated listing my properties "off-market" in the past, and even gotten some inbound interest.

So far I would have to say Quickbooks Online (QBO) as it has a good ecosystem to capture all sorts of expenses.

Is there an established STR eco system to allow a remote foreign investor to successfully own and rent out a  property, i.e. multiple competitive Property Management companies, abundant labor supply and services, friendly government policies and tax schemes?
