But I am sure they talked about fines and penalties. 

On the surface that sounds fine except with VRBO I did not where I have access to their credit card to charge them directly but rather I could submit an extra charge and it's up to the guest if they pay or not.

That is fine but it left many of the family without a safety net.

Please always read the fine print for anyone reading this thats starting starting off. 

I have units without washer and dryer and they rent fine but I found myself showing to people who really wanted the washer dryer way too often so I do put that in the ad and review it again on talking to them.   

I like to look for board orders, excessive fines for weeds/grass, stop orders, and unsecured premises. 

@Bruce Woodruff were gonna get a slew of people saying it will be fine, people will rebuild and all will be better than ever.

However, if the beneficial owner does not update thier FincenID the entity is the one at risk of being fined, not the errant FincenID holder.

Email is fine

in our area that is a real big deal.. we did another demo and left a few pieces of flooring an inspector came on our job determined they had asbestos in them and we violated taking asbestos items to the regular land fill.. that cost me 19k in fines and 18k in lawyer fees to keep the fines from being really big..
