You have 100's if not 1000's of competitors for this type of property.

Currently, the competition is fierce the girl next door has become the competitor, therefore driving prices down due to a higher competitive inventory.

I think the best way to separate yourself from your competitors in MTRs and STRs is the level of service your provide and the cleanliness/upkeep of your properties.

All things equal, I would prefer to have a rental in an area with fewer rental competitors.
