Having a long-term rental while living abroad is do-able.Flipping houses while abroad, in my opinion, more difficult, especially if its your first go around with real estate.I would recommend taking a flight and staying in the area for a week and inspect the neighborhoods and make connections.You can reach out to @Elenis Camargo who has a PM company in Jacksonville.Best of luck though.

Most 3BR turnkey homes are closer to $285K and upwards, so with money more expensive, and minimum rent of $1800... possible break even scenario.

Im not sure how far RWN should go to make things right as of course not doing your own inspection and appraisal is pretty stupid.

If you do, you’ll see that they'll quote you closer to 50% nearly every time. 

Are you buying amazing deals or are they closer to market value?  

Do you do Move In Inspections that show the condition of the property before? 

Next, plan on inspecting your properties every 90 days; you can communicate this to the tenant as you ensuring the property is in good order and to help you plan for repairs/future improvements. 

Paperwork, inspections, and those all-important critical dates for due diligence and closing are just a few examples.
