In fact, when I'm laying out a floor plan I have a little Altoids Tin full of various-sized rectangles cut from a sheet of cardboard (to an architectural scale) that I can easily rearrange and explore different layouts and spatial relationships.

There was evidence that the mice had gotten into the back of the fridge and chewed through the cardboard piece, but it seems like if any were inside initially, they would not have stayed through the delivery process.2) If the mice did in fact come with the fridge that I bought, do I have any recourse with the company that sold and delivered it to me?

@Brandon M. is correct in saying you should involve a securities attorney but you don't need a series 7 license to sell interests necessarily as there is an issuer exemption available so long as you follow the rules.
