I own a captive insurance agency that I started scratch in 2015 which is where my primary income comes from; I'm still a small agency but I continue to grow and started earning a profit after my first year and haven't stopped since.

Unlike certain captive companies, they have many options to choose from.  

Drone stuff works great here as well..Now once they are captivated enough from the video we want to generate and record that lead.

My advice: find a broker that will shop multiple lines, not a captive agent that is dedicated to one line/company, and see what Builders Risk policies they can find for you.Andy

They are what is known in the industry as a captive QI.  

The lender was the builder's captive lender and it was a VA loan too, so there were rules about adding arbitrary qualifications.

I have been on both sides as an captive agent focusing mainly on personal lines (home and auto) with limits on what I could do for investors and the tools to keep them as they grew their businesses.

Many title companies are either owned by exchange companies or have a "captive" QI they can refer to.
